Main Quests
Curtain Call Conspiracy
| § | |
|---|---|
| 001 | A crazed man kills Alison Mediri during the final act of the Five Lives play at the Diamond Theatre. He throws open a bag of undead to attack the theatre-goers, shouting "Death to Breland! Glory to Karrnath!". |
| 002 | The crazed man who attacked the Diamond Theatre is a Karrnathi named Wultram Kazkov. Zelandris is rebuffed by a strange voice when attempting to mindlink with Wultram. The party obtains his undead Bag of Holding. The bag is empty except for undead viscera. Gus wants evidence Wultram was not working alone. |
| 003 | The party investigates Wultram's Apartment in Graywall. They find caged undead and a man deliberately scratched by a ghoul. Additionally, they find correspondence with a man named Lan Hazal, a pendant of the Order of the Emerald Claw, a Karrnathi supremacy manifesto, and three large Dragonshards in a ritual summoning circle. The house is burned down by undead flaming skulls before more evidence could be obtained and the party flees the premises. |
| 004 | The party read the Sharn Inquisitive's coverage of the Diamond Theatre attack. They split up to follow leads. Talos speaks with Vlad, a Karrnathi drinking buddy, about the Order of the Emerald Claw and Lan Hazal. The twins tell Suyamun about their investigation and he promises to look into who may have procured the Dragonshards. At the Red Hammer Inn, Blue gives the party information about Hazal Smelting. |
| 005 | Cinder gets information from Scythe about Hazal Smelting, including the shift change to a "skeleton crew" at 8pm. The party stakes out Hazal Smelting and Lark infiltrates it, grabbing a key and correspondence with Kelthor d'Tharashk negotiating the purchase of Dragonshards. The party sneaks past The Night Shift into Lan Hazal's office. They take a safe, robes, an obsidian mask, and a letter discussing a midnight meeting at the Bloody Blade Shrine. |
| 006 | The party smashes open Lan Hazal's office safe, only finding workers' wages and some small Dragonshards. They research the Blood of Vol and learn about Seekers, Mabar manifest zones, and psychopomp masks. Jacopo is summoned for questioning as a person of interest in the Diamond Theatre attack. |
| 007 | Jacopo is questioned by Constance d'Medani and Viktor d'Deneith about the Diamond Theatre attack. Jacopo confesses and hands over the evidence collected. The Party meets with Alastair Buchanan and they agree to amnesty in exchange for infiltrating the Bloody Blade Shrine. |
| 008 | In the central cloister of the Bloody Blade Shrine, cultists gather and Lan Hazal introduces Jessel Tarra'az. He asks the assembly to grieve Wultram Kazkov and to not cooperate with the Sharn City Watch. He attempts a blood ritual to provide clarity over the recent events that have transpired, but is interrupted when Nazari defiantly throws the blood basin at Jessel Tarra'az. She snaps her disc and the King's Swords are summoned where arrests begin. Lady Tarra'az escapes and shrouds the room in darkness, causing undead to break into the room. |
| 009 | The King's Swords apprehend Lan Hazal. The party updates Captain Buchanan about Lan's comments over Wultram Kazkov and the need for secrecy in the upcoming "war", the blood ritual, Jessel Tarra'az and the Mabaran manifest zone. Lark is jailed alongside the other cultists and gathers intel. Lark comes away believing the cultists and Lan are innocent over the Diamond Theatre attacks. She is suspicious the King's Swords may have ulterior motives and warns Nazari off Corwith ir'Cullen. |
| 010 | The party discusses next steps with the investigation. Lark suggests disguising herself as Corwith ir'Cullen to get into The Hazal Residence. Zelandris mentions the voice that rebuffed him when he tried to mind link with Wultram Kazkov at the Diamond Theatre. Gus asks for justice and evidence of Jessel Tarra'az's wrongdoing. |
| 011 | The party meet with Clayton ir'Cullen and Alastair Buchanan, who congratulate them on bringing Lan Hazal to justice. Lord ir'Cullen ignores the party's concern about Jessel Tarra'az. They learn Wultram Kazkov has allegedly killed himself shortly after confessing to Lan's involvement in the Diamond Theatre attack. The party negotiates an interrogation of Lan in exchange for an interview with Monty Applebee. |
Manifest Mayhem

|---|---|
| 008 | After drinking the blood of her Sovereign Host statue, Lark recognizes that the Bloody Blade Shrine is actually a Mabaran manifest zone. |

| § | |
|---|---|

| 002 | Lark attempts to get information about Thelanis from the fey playwright Luca, whose mind is addled. Luca becomes agitated as Lark won't share her plan to return to Thelanis. |
| 008 | After drinking the blood of her statue, Lark has a vision of a wasteland with obsidian spires, reminiscent of a feyspire like the elvish birthplace Shae Tirias Tolai. She also has a vision of the Court of Thalia with its flowers wilting and creatures turning to dust. |
| 010 | Lark is unsure of her actual age, but states she is from The Autumn Court in Thelanis. |
It's A Twin Thing
| § | |
|---|---|
| 001 | Zelandris and Nazari are twins with psionic abilities. Zelandris dreams of a missing moon. Suyamun from the Unity of Riedra takes an interest in him. |
| 004 | The twins seek out Suyamun to cure Nazari's undead affliction. They update him about the Diamond Theatre investigation. |

| 002 | Merrix d'Cannith asks Talos to befriend Cinder to monitor his unusual abilities. |
| 004 | Cinder expresses concern to Talos about drawing the attention of Merrix d'Cannith. Talos reassures him Merrix has "progressive" views toward Warforged. Down in the Cogs, the party meets Boreal and Root, who chastise Cinder for his indiscretion about his special powers. Cinder receives a letter from Merrix inviting Cinder to tour his facilities. |
| 005 | Jacopo approaches Boreal and tries to reassure him that Cinder's secret about their kinetic powers is safe with him. |
| 006 | Cinder reveals he is an experimental Warforged (alongside Boreal and Root) that is able to forge a connection to other planes and draw on their powers. He and Talos meet with Merrix d'Cannith. Cinder lies about being the only Kinetic Warforged left and agrees to help Merrix in his factory. |
Say No to Drugs
| § | |
|---|---|
| 001 | Jacopo is shaken down by Gustavo of the Boromar Clan for money owed. |
| 004 | Lark questions Jacopo's relationship with Gus and why someone from the Boromar Clan would be interested in the Diamond Theatre attack. Jacopo suggests Gus cares about Sharn. |
| 010 | Jacopo reveals he owes money to Gus over Dreamlily taken from him in a mugging. The party meets Gus at the Lilypad where Jacopo pays Gus his first installment for the lost drugs. Jacopo admits the drugs were taken and Gus laments the loss of Boromar Clan market share in High Walls. Gus demands Jacopo take care of this after Jessel Tarra'az is dealt with. Lark offers to help Jacopo investigate the Daask as Gristle. |
| 011 | Gristle investigates the missing Dreamlily in Callestan. He finds out it's already been sold by the Daask, and asks to get in on future shipments. To the party's consternation, Jacopo floats the idea of murdering Daask in retribution. |

Lark disguises herself as Merrix d'Cannith and speaks to Eskridge Callaway about Pyramus, learning he was indeed the Warforged in question. Pyramus informed the Watch it was due to the man's imminent transformation into a ghoul. Back at the Glum Gryphon, Grimnir cautions Lark against deceptive solutions to help Pyramus. |

They dress up as cultists and are given a candle, a knife, and a cryptic message before being separated. |
| 008 | Disguised as cultists, the party is separated from one another. They wander the Bloody Blade Shrine, using the light from their candles to keep the undead at bay. There are statues of the Sovereign Host deities throughout the Shrine. The party members each find the statue associated with their cryptic message and stab the statue, causing it to bleed. Talos stabs Arawei; Zelandris stabs Boldrei; Cinder stabs Onatar; Jacopo stabs Aureon; Nazari stabs Dol Dorn; Lark stabs Olladra. Jacopo drinks the blood and gets visions of Ja'Sharaat and the aberrant marked tyrants that placed death curses upon Old Sharn. Lark also drinks the blood and gets visions of the Court of Thalia. She recognizes the shrine is in a Mabaran manifest zone. They present their bloodied knives to gain access to the central cloister of the Shrine. The meeting with Lan Hazal and Jessel Tarra'az unfolds until Nazari disrupts an attempted blood ritual and summons the King's Swords with her snapped "disc." |
