| 010 | The party discusses next steps with the investigation. Lark suggests disguising herself as Corwith ir'Cullen to get into The Hazal Residence. Nazari expresses discomfort with Lark's willingness to offer herself to Jessel Tarra'az, while Lark reminds Nazari of the mistakes she made at the Bloody Blade Shrine. While discussing support for this operation, Nazari and Zelandris disclose their psionic abilities. Talos and Jacopo recognize the powers as common amongst the ruling elite in the Unity of Riedra. Zelandris mentions the voice that rebuffed him when he tried to mind link with Wultram Kazkov at the Diamond Theatre. |
| 008 | Zelandris and Talos join up, assisting another cultist in destroying undead with their light. Talos finds his statue Arawai and stabs it. As darkness sweeps through the dungeon, Zelandris loses his shadow. The shadow briefly reappears to stab an undead hand. Zelandris stabs Boldrei. |

Talos reminds the party to always lawyer up when dealing with the authorities. The party debate what to do and decide to cooperate/negotiate with the King's Swords in the ongoing investigation. |

He is nervous about Merrix d'Cannith's interest in him. Talos reassures him that Merrix has progressive views about warforged autonomy. |
| 006 | Cinder and Talos are greeted by Pierce at Merrix d'Cannith's apartment. He brings them to Merrix. Cinder learns most of Merrix's immediate family was killed in Cyre during the Mourning. They talk about Kinetic Warforged, and Cinder lies saying he is the only one left. Cinder agrees to help Merrix from time to time at his factory. In return, Merrix promises to help Pyramus with his legal troubles. |
