011 At the Glum Gryphon, Gristle returns and is coaxed back into Lark with some tatertots from Cinder's canonical chest oven. She updates the party about the Daask and Dreamlily. Jacopo suggests they murder some Daask. The rest of the party is horrified and worried about retribution from a criminal gang. Jacopo is more concerned that Gustavo might kill him if this situation is not quickly rectified.
011 The party is interviewed by Monty Applebee. They admit to breaking into Wultram's Apartment and infiltrating the Bloody Blade Shrine. Nazari disputes the notion that the investigation is finished with Lan Hazal's arrest. They bring up Jessel Tarra'az as an open question and the possibility of a larger conspiracy. Zelandris tries to backpedal on this notion. Jacopo secures Wildnight advertising for Truffs n Stuff in exchange for giving Applebee a juicy quote for the paper.
010 Jacopo tells the party he started a brothel called the Three-Legged Halfling in Kalazart alongside his former lover Mercedes Boromar. She presumably died in the Day of Mourning. Jacopo leveraged that relationship to get in with her cousin Gustavo. Jacopo reveals he owes Gus both money and Dreamlily after being mugged by "unknown" enemies. The party brainstorms how to handle Gus.
010 The party discusses next steps with the investigation. Lark suggests disguising herself as Corwith ir'Cullen to get into The Hazal Residence. Nazari expresses discomfort with Lark's willingness to offer herself to Jessel Tarra'az, while Lark reminds Nazari of the mistakes she made at the Bloody Blade Shrine. While discussing support for this operation, Nazari and Zelandris disclose their psionic abilities. Talos and Jacopo recognize the powers as common amongst the ruling elite in the Unity of Riedra. Zelandris mentions the voice that rebuffed him when he tried to mind link with Wultram Kazkov at the Diamond Theatre.
010 The party meets with Gustavo at the Lilypad in Callestan in Lower Dura. Jacopo pays Gus his first installment for the lost Dreamlily. They update Gus about their investigation. He believes the evidence against Lan Hazal is flimsy, but is skeptical that a grander conspiracy to bring Breland and Karrnath to war might be at play. He offers a reward for Jessel Tarra'az's head, assuming they can also provide evidence of her wrongdoing. Gus promises some assistance in provisioning supplies for the mission.
010 Gustavo laments the absence of Dreamlily product being moved in High Walls. Jacopo admits he got jacked of his dreamlily and has been unable to develop a clientele in Highwall. Gus demands that Jacopo focus on the dreamlily situation once Vampire Mommy is dealt with.
010 Lark offers to help Jacopo investigate the Daask supply of Boromar Dreamlily. She explains her Gristle identity as a deceased Daask agent. The party questions her true age and origin. She is unsure of her actual age, but states she is from Court of Thalia in Thelanis.
009 Battle breaks out between the undead and the party alongside the King's Swords. Huddled cultists light magical candles and attempt to deliver light to braziers to drive back the undead. The party uses that light to help fight off the undead. Captain Buchanan is charmed by Vampire Mommy to cut down one of his own King's Swords. The King's Swords initially attack the cultists, but Jacopo persuades them to stop. Lark (disguised as "Vlad") helps Lan Hazal and Mikhael Fedorov. Alastair Buchanan also helps clear a path for Lan to bolster the flames from the braziers. Zelandris nearly dies from a massive, severed hand and necril worms, but is saved by Jacopo. Two cultists and two King's Swords die before the battle is over.
009 The party encounters Constance d'Medani in The Hazal Residence. She shakes Jacopo's hand. Nazari flirts with Corwith ir'Cullen and they arrange a "spar" later.
008 Nazari and Jacopo meet up. Jacopo stabs a statue of Aureon and drinks the blood. He has a vision of Ja'Sharaat, the Dhakaani foundation of Sharn, being weathered and turned to dust. He sees the aberrant marked tyrant Halas Tarkanan, with Sharn teeming with vermin from the Lady of the Plague. Finally, he sees a future of Sharn derelict and empty. He collects some of Aureon's blood in a vial. Nazari stabs Dol Dorn.
008 Lan Hazal and Vampire Mommy ask the Bloody Blade Shrine assembly to all donate blood to perform a clarifying ritual over events that have recently transpired. Jacopo slips Cinder the vial of blood from the Aureon statue. Nazari pretends to faint, knocking over the basin of collected blood. When they insist on getting her blood, she hurls the basin at Vampire Mommy and snaps her King's Swords coin.
007 Jacopo goes to the King's Swords Garrison in Upper Central, where he questioned by Constance d'Medani and Viktor d'Deneith about the Diamond Theatre terror attacks and the party's involvement thus far. Jacopo attempts to lie stating a man of "great cunningness", possibly named Castor, stole Wultram Kazkov's missing bag of holding. They see through his deception and Jacopo eventually folds. He tells them everything except for the twins' psionic abilities, that Contessina is a changeling, or that they burglarized Lan Hazal's safe at Hazal Smelting. Jacopo learns that war hero Captain Alastair Buchanan is spearheading the investigation.
007 Jacopo and Corwith ir'Cullen head to Truffs n Stuff to hand over the party's collected evidence. Jacopo hands it over, but withholds the letter from the foreman Bargast or the list of Hazal Smelting employees' addresses.
007 Back at the Glum Gryphon, Jacopo reunites with the party and updates them. Some in the party recognize Alastair Buchanan as a Brelish war hero who lost his arm fighting Karrnathi. Talos reminds the party to always lawyer up when dealing with the authorities. The party debate what to do and decide to cooperate/negotiate with the King's Swords in the ongoing investigation.
007 The party returns to Talos's Apartment and plan to infiltrate The Hazal Residence in Graywall. Jacopo wonders if the discs given to them by the King's Swords are being used to spy on the party.
006 The party head to Talos's Apartment for the night, where they have an actual party. Jacopo recognizes Lan's mask from Hazal Smelting as a "psychopomp mask" to ward off death. Zelandris talks about the Blood of Vol and their view of death as oblivion.
006 Zelandris is questioned by Corwith ir'Cullen of the King's Swords about his absence at work, the party's activities, and his knowledge of Jacopo. Zelandris attempts to lie but is caught, and reveals some of their activities (but still hiding Lark's true nature).
006 Corwith ir'Cullen comes to Medieval Times and questions Nazari about the party's actions and Jacopo. She successfully deflects his questions.
006 Jacopo learns he is a person of interest in the Diamond Theatre terror attack. He answers a summons from the King's Swords for questioning.
005 Jacopo approaches Boreal and tries to reassure him that Cinder's secret about their kinetic powers is safe with him.
004 Lark questions Jacopo about his relationship to Gustavo, and why Gus is interested in the Diamond Theatre attack. Jacopo suggests Gus is interested in the greater good of Sharn.
004 Jacopo returns to Truffs n Stuff in High Walls, where he reads a coded message from the Korranberg Chronicle using a cipher. He leaves a dossier concerning the Diamond Theatre attack at a dead drop location, only holding back concerns over Cinder's strange capabilities.
004 Cinder, Jacopo and the twins head to the Cogs and the Red Hammer Inn. Cinder introduces his party members to Boreal and Root. They chastise Cinder in private about his indiscreet actions at the Diamond Theatre. There is a letter from Merrix d'Cannith asking Cinder to tour his premises. Cinder promises caution from now on.
003 The Party take sky coaches to Graywall, a Karrnathi enclave within Middle Tavick's Landing. In transit, members of the party learn that Jacopo hates "gobos" and that Cinder fought for Cyre - on opposite sides of the War to Nazari and Zelandris.
003 The Party discovers that Wultram Kazkov was a former Blademark of House Deneith. They find a receipt for the bag and crossbow from a man named Lan Hazal, as well as a letter from Lan praising Wultram's service to Karrnathi ideals. Jacopo finds a pendant of the Order of the Emerald Claw and a manifesto espousing Karrnathi supremacy and calling for a return to war.
003 The Party splits up for the night. Cinder and Jacopo stay at Talos's Apartment in Upper Menthis. Zelandris attempts to heal Nazari's ghoul wound at their run-down apartment. At the Glum Gryphon, Lark plays a traditional Cyran song to comfort Angelica Mediri.
002 Jacopo searches the raving mad man who unleashed the bag of undead in the theatre. He learns that the man is a Karrnathi named Wultram Kazkov. Zelandris attempts to mind link with Wultram and is rebuffed by an entity telling him he has no place in this man's mind.
002 The Sharn City Watch arrive, including the detective Eskridge Callaway and the journalist Monty Applebee. Jacopo hides the bag of holding that was used to unleash the undead. The detectives are suspicious of the party after Cinder mentions the now missing bag. Gus pulls strings and convinces the guards to let the issue slide.
001 Jacopo deals with customers at Truffs n Stuff in the High Walls, a Cyran refugee neighborhood in Lower Tavick's Landing. He is visited by Gustavo, a member of the Boromar Clan. Gus shakes him down for money owed and invites him to the Five Lives play.
